The Greater New Orleans Postal Customer Council (PCC) held its first in-person event since the new normal brought on by the COVID pandemic last week.  Customers enjoyed the PCC’s 1st Annual Crawfish Boil held at a local restaurant after hours on Friday evening.  The event was held outside on a spacious deck and the tables were situated six feet apart.

One of the main functions of the PCC is networking between customers and Postal management and each other, something that the group has not been able to do for over a year.   The customers remarked that it was truly refreshing to be able to see people face-to-face and not on Zoom and the hope is for many more live events in the future.

Louisiana District Manager David Camp spoke to the business customers about his experiences on the Emergency Response Team that comes in after the hurricane to help restore services for the Postal Service.  The customers were impressed and stated that they were reassured to know that USPS had a developed and well thought out plan.  For these businesses, our success is their success.
